The Benefits of Snap In Dentures

Snap-in dentures help improve your ability to chew.
Snap-in dentures have a more natural look and feel due to them being less bulky than traditional dentures.
Snap-in dentures provide an easier access to maintaining oral hygiene compared to traditional dentures.

Am I a good candidate for dental implants?
The vast majority of patients are great candidates for dental implants
How much do dental implants cost?
Dental Implants cost between $1500 and $4,000
How long do dental implants last?
Originally thought to last a lifetime, new research indicates implants have a life expectancy of about 20 years
Do dental implants hurt?
While every experience is different, patients often report a lower level of discomfort after implant placement when compared to having a tooth removed
How do I care for my dental implants?
We always recommend a water pick to help clean your implants and routine dental visits/cleanings are important to help keep bacteria/plaque/tartar from building up on the implant
How often should the snaps be changed?
There are nylon fittings in the housings that engage the implant (similar to a gasket) that wears out periodically. We typically recommend changing “snaps” once a year. This can vary depending on how often the denture is removed, the type of food consumed, and if the denture is worn at night
What maintenance is required for my snap-in denture?
For the long term health of your dental implants, we recommend a yearly maintenance cleaning of the implant, abutment, and denture.
Can I wear my denture to bed?
We highly recommend taking the denture out when sleeping. It is important to allow the gums to breathe and relax after a long day of wearing a prosthesis. If the denture is a “snap in”, if the patient grinds their teeth at night, there is extra stress placed on the implant and could cause issues with the implants
